Hello Support Community,
I was trying to record something on my iPhone, but I didn’t balance it to well on the side of the pillow and it toppled over onto the ground. I noticed that there was a rainbow-like strip of colors (but vertical) right before it hit the ground.
This is not a problem, and this is not occurring again, I’m just curious of what this is :)

First, try a forced restart, if that doesn't help, make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.
Try a forced restart.
• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the side button.
• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

It is very hard to determine the cause of an isolated phenomenon. If it never happens again, I wouldn't worry about it. If it does start happening repeatedly, arrange to have your phone evaluated:

You do not understand. Maybe you meant to send that message to a different post? This only happened for like, half a second right before it hit the ground. It is not permanent and it is not reoccurring on my screen nor other videos. Again, it is not a problem, I’m just interested of what that was.
