Books App Crashes on iPad

I am not an Apple Tech but I am a Microsoft Certified Technician. The Books App keeps crashing after a few seconds. Rebooting iPad does not resolve and from what I have read in previous posts uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not resolve the crashing problem. I believe I have figured out the solution after trying several changes on my iPad and then opening up the Books App. The one change that seemed to make a difference was: Settings, Books, and disabled the Background App Refresh. My iPad doesn’t seem to be overheating either since this change. I hope this works for everyone else.
