I cant watch my bought and downloaded Apple Movies without Wifi. Phoning since days with Apple Support and waiting for solution.

Why can’t I watch downloaded Apple TV movies that I bought offline? I recently bought a few movies on the app Apple TV (I bought the movies permanently… I didn’t rent them). I downloaded the movies to my device so I could watch them offline but for some reasons every time I try to watch any of those movies without an internet connection it tells me I can’t watch them. If I press on a downloaded movie while offline it says „Connect to Wi-Fi to Watch You must connect to a Wi-Fi network in order to play this movie.“ and I don’t get why. Yes I’m sure it’s downloaded and no it isn’t a rented movie. Someone help me please 😭

I am unable to watch purchased movie Dune 2 on Apple TV Come on Apple, I can’t watch dune 2 on my TV but it lets me on my phone I payed 30$ for this movie then I can’t even watch it. Fix the problem or I’m never buying a movie again on Apple TV [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How can I watch my purchased movie off-line ? Hi, I have purchased the movie "Elvis" in order to watch it during my flight tomorrow. I saved it in my TV library. How can I watch it off-line ? When I switch of the wi-fi it doesn't work. There is no wi.fi during my flight tomorrow. I will appreciate very much a quick reply so that I can watch it tomorrow. Offline playback is supposed to be available on the authorized/associated device on which the content was originally downloaded.

Use with AirPlay is supposed to require online authorization.

Transferring these files to other devices would not be supported for offline playback.

If you are already in contact with Apple Support, then please continue that path.
