Since pairing my iphone and apple watch, I don't get audio notifications (sounds) on my iphone for texts, etc. Can't figure out how to resolve. I know the watch vibrates for notifications, but that's not enough for me.

This is by design. If your iPhone screen is open (not locked), notifications come to your iPhone. If your iPhone screen is locked, notifications come to your Apple Watch.
