Wifi and Bluetooth does not allow me to toggle on

Dear apple community,

I have an iphone12, it's 85 days out of warranty and my phone is in prestige condition.

This issue began two days ago, once I updated my iPhone. The phone will not allow me to toggle on both the wifi and bluetooth.

When I right corner grab the screen down, the phone will allow me to turn on the wifi and bluetooth but then immediately kicks me off.

To correct this issue, I reset the "network settings" same issue continued to proceed, it would kick me off of the wifi. I reset the phone to its original settings, and called a technician at apple but they're saying the only thing to do is see a Genius Bar representative.

I am so disappointed as a longtime apple user, as I mentioned may phone is in prestige condition, and this issue only began when I updated the system to IOS 16.4.1.

It's also worth mentioning I've never used a VPN (Just found out what that was from the representative) and I have very strict privacy settings on my phone (no face recognition and no location settings).

Hello Dandelion1557,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

We want to help get your iPhone connecting to your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth again.

We see you viewed the Apple Support page for If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support

Since you already followed these steps, and the issue remains when using the latest iOS version, see here:

  • "Try connecting to a Wi-Fi network in a different location. If your device can connect, you need to get help with your Wi-Fi network. If your device can't connect to any Wi-Fi networks, contact Apple."

This is from the Apple Support page you linked: If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support

Working with Apple Support will be the next best step as they can help further isolate the issue and setup a hardware repair if needed.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
