Clock for MacBook Air

I have a new MacBook Air and there is no clock in the menu bar or in the Launchpad window. I have gone into Apple/Preferences/Dock and Menu/Clock, and switched it to Analog as recommended in another answer to no effect. Nothing else I have tried works to bring up a clock with timer/stopwatch, etc. Any help?

Timer sound continues playing after quitting Clock app I set a timer in the Clock app and when it went off, I closed my MacBook. When I opened it later, the alarm sound was still playing. I quit the clock app in an attempt to turn the sound off, but now the sound is still playing and cannot be turned off. How do I make this stop? There is no notification to dismiss. Why won't the time and date show on my taskbar? The time and date have disappeared from my taskbar. I have been into 'System Preferences' and checked the Time & Date section - that all looks good. I've also been into the Dock & Menu Bar section and looked at 'Clock' that all looks good - but there's no option to show the clock on taskbar - just options to change what it shows. Am I missing something? I'm running Monterey 12.6 Thanks, in advance

I cannot turn off the Apple Clock timer alarm. When I set the timer (Application: "Clock") on my Macbook Pro (M1 Sonoma 14.1.1), and the time runs down to zero, the alarm comes on, and I cannot turn it off. Sometimes the banner pops up, and when I click on it with my mouse, nothing happens; the alarm keeps ringing. Sometimes, the little banner does not pop up, and the alarm keeps ringing. When I quit the application, nothing happens; the alarm keeps ringing. The only thing that works is restarting the computer (I am going to restart now, because, as I write this...you guessed it). Can any of you folks help?

You must install macOS Ventura to obtain the app "Clock" that does what you want. macOS 12.x (indicated on your post) does not have that feature.
