M2 Mac Mini: Push-to-Talk Wireless Microphone
I there such a thing as a push-to-talk wireless microphone that will work with an M2 Mac Mini to use for voice dictation and Siri in the same way that an Apple TV remote works?

Maybe this one? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QFRXJ9R/. There are also Apps that can do that, search “PTT Microphone” in the Mac Apple Store. I can’t vouch for any of them, so read the reviews before purchasing. All the best.
If you want an Apple TV remote to work with your mini, it’s not possible. A good idea nevertheless, send it through Feedback - Apple TV - Apple, maybe they’ll consider it.
I am afraid I do not understand your question. To expand on my question in case it answers yours, my Mac Mini is connected to my TV. I am sitting on the sofa. I wish to ask Siri a question or dictate a search term into a textfield in Safari. If I was using an Apple TV, I would pick up the remote, push the button and speak into it. I would like to do the same with my Mac Mini. In order to do this I would need a wireless microphone with push to talk capabilities as the Mac Mini does not have a microphone.
Thank you for your reply. Yes indeed, it would be great to use the Apple TV remote with a Mac Mini. I will provide some feedback as you suggested.
I was aware that this is not possible with an Apple TV remote and I have been investigating if a microphone exists that I could pair with my Mac Mini that would allow me to push a button and speak into it to engage with Siri or dictate into a textfield on my Mac Mini.
Thanks. A wireless/bluetooth microphone is a must due to the separation between the Mac Mini and the sofa. I only have one result for PTT Microphone on the App Store, which is a microphone manager, but that may be due to regional differences.
Heard where?
