Bose quiet comfort headphones dropping Bluetooth connection after a few minutes after updating to 16.4.1

Since updating my iPhone to 16.4.1 my Bose quiet comfort 2 headphones keep getting disconnected after a couple of minutes

I am not seeing this behaviour when using them with my other devices.

I have tried resetting them and re adding them to the phone with no effect

Bose Quiet Comfort II earbuds disconnects from iPhone I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 17.2.1 to which I connect Bose Quiet Comfort II earbuds via the Bose Music app. Lately I’ve been unable to connect or remain connected to my phone unless I remove the app and connect manually to Bluetooth settings. What is going on? Is it my phone or the Bose Music app, neither Apple nor Bose seems to have any answers.

iPad Mini Loses Bluetooth Audio New iPad mini connects to my Bose Bluetooth headset just fine but may lose audio when changing apps or sometimes will not provide audio to headset even though it is connected via Bluetooth. Turning iPad completely off then on will usually solve the problem but the audio may then drop out a bit later. Only drops out when changing apps. Bluetooth connection is not dropped when the audio drops. iPad: iPad mini 6th generation, Model #: MK893LL/A, Software Version: 15.5 Headphones: Bose QC35 II I do not see this problem at all when using the Bose headphones with my MacBook pro. I did not have this problem when using my old iPad mini.
