CarPlay switches to driver speaker

I have wireless CarPlay in a 2023 RAV4. Randomly as I leave or approach my home the CarPlay switches to driver side speaker only, and the dashboard displays a speaker with a line through it denoting that the speaker is inactive. When I switch to the radio, sound returns to all speakers. Then going back to CarPlay the sound remains on all speakers.

I turned off the Wi-Fi on my phone that connects to my home Wi-Fi thinking that it was the Wi-Fi handing off my phone to 5G but this did not fix the issue.

If your iPhone isn't detected by CarPlay, make sure that CarPlay isn't restricted. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. If Content & Privacy Restrictions is on, tap Allowed Apps, and make sure that CarPlay is enabled. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, tap your car, then tap Forget This Car.
