Hi

Right click on the handle - choose 'break tangent' - now you can manage each handle independently. Both handles will still update at the same time if you swap interpolation, but now you can work with each one independent of the other to create linear on one side and curve on the other.

Otherwise, use the ease in or ease out preset.

Hi

Yes - as I said before, that behavior is normal. This is how the preset linear and bezier work. They will always act on the 2 points.

If you want to work on each point independently - break the tangent to create your curve.

If you want to have an independent section - add another keyframe.

You can right right click on the curve to add another keyframe or use the keyframe function in the editor UI :)

Hi

I don't use Motion for video editing, I make FCP tools and template plugins. I think though, eventually I will be facing the same competition as you are, and my income depends entirely on the popularity of FCP and the user base that it supports, so I am facing the same competition soon I expect. I have faith that Apple will deliver the tools to remain competitive via future releases of FCP and Motion. From what I understand, Apple has generally preferred to deliver the 'platform' and then depend on 3rd party developers to provide all the higher features and functions - mVFX Puppet, Yanobox Nodes & Motype 2 for example. However, with the pace of change the last few years, maybe they will be become more active with elevating the base features.
