Studio Display Dirty Screen Effect / Grey Uniformity Issue / Colour Unevenness

Hey all,

My Studio Display arrived this Friday and I noticed that the screen has a prominent Dirty Screen Effect that is very noticeable during scrolling of documents or browsing sites that have white/gray or light background. Since my work requires a lot of reading this is very troublesome. I know LCDs are prone to having issues like that but having this on such an expensive monitor is upsetting. The unevenness is at the bottom half of the screen in the form of horizontal stripes. Like a zebra. Should I count this as a defect and ask for a replacement unit?
