Nord VPN how to get refund from cancelled subscription
I received my latest Credit Card Statement and saw that NordVPN has renewed my subscription without my authorization. I checked my NordVPN account and the auto renewal toggle was not activated yet NordVPN renewed my subscription. As soon as I found this out I contacted them and understood that my subscription was cancelled but was told to contact Apple.com to request refund to my credit card. This I did but thus far I haven’t received a charge cancellation and the Apple notification indicates the subscription expires 4/5/24 NEXT YEAR! I am on a fixed income and cannot afford an expense I do not use.
Your advices in this regard would be appreciated.

cancelled my subscription to NORDVPN but it doesn’t show as cancelled.
It says it expires January 11, 2022 but also mentions an auto-renewal.
How do I verify that it will not automatically renew?
