How to recover my screen passcode in order to reset my location and privacy

If you have forgotten your iPhone screen passcode, your only option is to reset the iPhone and the then set it up again.

If your iPhone is not running iOS 15.2 or higher........please use the instructions linked below, but note that you must use a PC or Mac.

If you have a backup of the phone, you can use the backup to restore the data on the phone during the new setup.
Now.....if the message on the screen says Activation Lock.....that is a different matter. Please confirm.
