My text turns into a conversation in my room being dictated when I do t want it to type. How can I stop this from happening?

You may need to disable Dictation in iPad settings:
Settings > General > Keyboard > Dictation > [Dictation] Enable Dictation - set to OFF
How do I shut off microphone when texting?? I can’t find the removal of the mic on my text when I don’t want it on.
