IPad battery broken two times in a row

Hello, my ipad stoped charging and sometimes it swithed off during intensive tasks. I replaced battery, it lived for two month and then problem repeated. I replaced battery again and the problem repeated after 2 month. I guess the problem is not with a battery.

Also I noticed, that if I sqeeze ipad near its center, then it starts charging and i can even turn it on. Any ideas what is the issue? It seems that battery replacement will not help

Your description suggests that you have attempted battery replacement yourself. If so, you will not be using a genuine Apple battery - as these are only available to Apple Authorised Service Providers (AASPs) - and are not sold for self install.

Third-party batteries are unlikely to meet Apple’s stringent performance, reliability or quality criteria.

Similarly, if you have disassembled the iPad, it is very likely that internal ribbon-flexi connections will have suffered damage - and as a result, intermittent or broken connections can be expected.

In attempting a self-repair, you have also forfeited any future hardware support from Apple. Consequently, you are now very much on your own in regard to correcting/repairing any damage caused.

I put 5 1.5l bottles on it and it is charging without issues and work pretty well. But it switches off immediately, if I remove bottles and lift it from the floor. Intermittent connections seems to be the issue, I will disassemble it and repair by myself. It is 5 years old device, so warranty is not a problem I guess. Battery was replaced in two different service centers. Thank you for the tip
