Issue with playing a youtube video in powerpoint on the mac

The specific question is that specifying the end time for a chunk of video is not working, start time works fine, but it does not stop at the specified end time. The powerpoint version is 16.72 (part of office 365 package) the OS is Monterrey 12.6.5

Delayed timeline playback in Final Cut Pro on iMac with external HD footage When I start to move the playhead on the timeline of an existing project I first have to wait for 30 seconds (the beach ball is turning).
