I need to access location history on iphone max 13 w IOS 16. All I get is that I was at 277 locations in the last month but I need the actual itemized list. I tried on the phone... it didn't work and then I tried on my MacBook Pro.. Anyway to retrieve this info?

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I actually called Apple and sadly, the detailed information is no longer available in the new IOS systems for the last few years. I submitted feedback on apple.com/feedback and asked them to reinstate as it is a very helpful tool.
The information is no longer available for security reasons. There were a number of instances of people being arrested because their location history showed that they were near a coincidentally near crime scene that they were not involved in. One spent 3 months in jail.
As far as my understanding goes, Significant Locations are used on iCloud-connected devices to learn places significant to you in order to provide useful location-related information in Maps, Calendar, Photos and more.
On the flip side. A family friend was roofied and raped last weekend. She remembers nothing. We were hoping her locations could help in the police investigation. I realize it can be used negatively, but there is also useful information that it can provide to help in situations like this. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
The police can request the location of the phone based on its IMEI from the cellular network provider.
