Photos doesn't support my RAW files

My camera (an Olympus E-M1 Mark III) is listed under About This Mac > System Report > Raw Support, so why doesn't Photos support my RAW files? (I'm running OS 10.14.6.)

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.14

Your Camera Model does not yet appear in the list of RAW support for macOS 10.14.6: Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 12 and macOS Mojave – Apple Support (UK)

It is first listed for macOS 11 Big Sur: Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and macOS Big Sur - Apple Support, and with a footnote: "5. Excluding RAW images taken using High Res Shot".

You may want to check the settings in your camera, if you have selected "High Res Shot" for the RAW format, it will not be supported.
