AirPod case charge amount

I noticed that every time I looked at my AirPod charge case's charge, it was 50%. I was curious if the sensor was broken, so I let it sit without charging it and then checked it the next day. It was at 11%.

I charged it back up and checked it again. It still showed 11%. I used a different cord to charge it. Still 11%. I suspect it is fully charged but displaying the wrong level. I looked at Bluetooth on my Mac, opened the charge case, and it shows my AirPods at 100%, but the case shows the same 11% that my iPhone shows.

What should I look at next?

Hey howardfromlafayette,

This is a very common issue that is predominatly because of 'Find My.' The AirPods Pro 2 have a U1 chip inside that works like an AirTag would. Unfortunately it's kind of a product design flaw, but what has fixed the issue for some people is resetting your AirPods. To do this go into Settings >> Bluetooth >> Click on the (i) icon next to your AirPods >> Scroll down to the bottom and click "Forget Device." After this flip opent the case, press and hold the back button of your AirPods until the white light flashes and hold next to your iPhone/iPad/Mac. Follow the on-screen instructions as usual.

Hope this helps! :D
