I have a subscription, but when I press "Play" nothing happens. What's going on?

I just subscribed to Apple Music Classical, but when I press the Play arrow on my iPhone, nothing happens. What's going on?

Thanks for your message. It turns out that I need the Apple Music app in addition to the Apple Music Classical app! Don't ask me why, but everything works perfectly now. Hopefully this info can help others in this situation.

Have you tried restarting your iPhone? This can resolve minor software issues. You can also try connecting your phone to a different network (Wi-Fi or cellular) to see if you get a different result. Additionally you'll want to make sure your device is up-to-date whenever possible:


"Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly:


1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.

3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.

4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install."
