Cables for new Mac mini
I recently upgraded my Mac mini so now I have Thunderbolt instead of USB connectors. Is there a cable that will connect Thunderbolt 4 to Firewire 800 and/or to USB 2.0?

The current M2 Mac mini has 2 regular USB ports and 2 or 4 USB-C / Thunderbolt 4 ports (Depending on the CPU selected).
You can use a USB-C / Thunderbolt 4 to USB adapter, or just use one of the regular USB ports.
There is no direct way to go from USB-C to Firewire, you would need to go from USB-C / Thunderbolt 4 to USB-A and then USB-A to FireWire.
If your drive or device has both FireWire and USB connection cables, use the USB connection cable in one of the Mac mini’s USB- A ports. Or optionally use a USB-C to USB-A adapter in one of the Mac mini’s USB-C ports
If the drive or device is FireWire only, then you will need a USB-C/ Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter and then a Thunderbolt 2 to FireWire 800 adapter. Note: for an FireWire 400 device, you will also need a FireWire 800 to FireWire 400 adapter or adapter cable.
