I assume you are talking about your Apple Card, since the post is in the Apple Card forum. If that is the case, then

For any other card, you will most likely just have the last 4 digits to be used for returns by a retailer or confirmation of card used. When using these cards with Apple Pay, the full card number is not sent to the retailer, only a unique identifier. This makes the transaction far more secure.
