hello, my iPad says connect to iTunes but iTunes is no longer supported on MacBooks MacOS 12.6
How can I get around this?

If you iPad is not recognised when connected to your computer, try using a different USB port; if your computer has both USB-C and USB Type-A ports, try using the USB Type-A port of the computer.

You are not limited to using a Mac to restore your iPad; a Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC (with iTunes for Windows installed) is just as usable:

Thanks for the quick reply, it’s not appearing on the left hand side bar when connected to my MacBook. Is there somewhere else?
