You will need to contact both financial institutions and check how the verify transfer to other organizations. Most banks do two trial deposits of small amounts under $1 each then immediately withdraw the amount. This is how 5/3 Bank, Chase Bank verified my Apple Savings account.
Both my banks (and investment accounts) allowed me to initiate the trial transfers from the apps on my iPhone. I had to enter the Apple Savings account routing and account number in the banks app. Once set up you initiate the verification process.
The two trial deposits take one to three days, depending on the institution. Once you see the deposits, go to your banks app and enter the two sums. They’ll be something like 29¢ and 49¢.
After entering the amounts there a final button or link to follow to complete the process.
Exceptions I encountered. The trial deposits for Chase required me to enter the amounts online rather than my iPhone app. They didn’t tell me this.
5/3 bank required to steps. I had to verify deposit first, then same process for withdrawal from Apple Savings account.
Goldman Sachs can assist by setting up 3way call between you, your financial institution and their representative. This can be a lengthy process with long wait time. There may only be one or two reps handling this for Robinhood and Coinbase. I don’t recommend that at this time.
