iPad to Wi-Fi in local coffee shop
Why does my iPhone 7 connect to my local coffee shop Wi-Fi but my iPad Pro 2nd gen won’t. It has in the past and there is a blue tick against the Router name but no internet connection.

With available information, it is impossible to attribute cause.
If you are experiencing difficulties with connecting to a public WiFi network, reset your network connections:
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset Network Settings
This reset only resets the network stack; it doesn’t affect other device settings, neither will it cause any deletion of data.
