messages display format changed

I don't know what I did, but I managed to mess up the "messages" display on my mac book air. I used to see previews from each text. HELP!!!!

Messages On Mac, ability to send "#images" (GIF's) disappeared after MacOS Ventura 13.5.2 update. After running the update to MacOS Ventura 13.5.2 update on my MacBook Pro the ability to send #images (GIF's) disappeared from Messages... the only options I now have to send in addition to text (see screen shot) are "Photos", "Memoji Stickers", and "Message Effects"... in fact, now that I look at it all other options are missing too like sending music links or "Stickers"... all the things that were there before. Is there something that I'm missing? It was there yesterday...

Line spacing in Macmail inbox message view This is not about line spacing in an email message! With the upgrade to Mac OS 12.2 (Monterey) came Mail 15. It spaces message list entries (vertically) much further apart than earlier releases. The result is far fewer messages visible in the list without scrolling. Is there any way to restore the single-spaced message list as in previous versions? (It would be nice to be able to single-space the mailbox list in the sidebar too, but that doesn't affect my productivity as much.) I'd even go back to an earlier release of Mail if that's what it takes, since the new features of Mail 15.0 aren't important to me.

I don’t think I’ve seen that view either, but my assumption would be to drag the divider between the list of conversations and the message pane to expand the conversation list.
