verizon msg

So i have an iPhone and I have a friend that i cannot text for some reason ? She has an android and when i try to text her i get a text message from verizon msg, and it says that i have restrictions on that line and that i cannot text them til the end of day restriction ends. The problem is that the restriction never ends, and my messages never deliver. I have a SIMS card and my wifi and service are fine. I dont understand why this is happening. how do I fix this ? i also cant be put in group chats with this friend.

899-000 is a Verizon account management number received on iPhones. On an iPhone, using Verizon service (like lots of providers) there is an option in Settings called Focus. I liken the “Focus,” function to a crossing guard on a busy street corner. A crossing guard maintains the flow of foot traffic, people. Similarly, adjusting the Focus setting will determine when , which, and how data may flow to and from your device. It’s common to see Focus divided into time slots (eg. Sleep and Work). I just can’t think of another explanation for your issue off the top of my head. Settings—> Focus. Good luck! btw - Focus could entirely block all incoming notifications, or prevent any outgoing calls, and you may not even know that it is ON. Take a peek ? 🙈 You might also try logging in to iCloud.com and checking your account preferences and your Me tab in iPhone settings, make sure you have syncing enabled. Worst case scenario, visit an Apple Genius Bar. 👌🏼
