Where does iTunes extract update packages (when you update iPhone or iPad etc)

I see most people search that information.

On Windows 10

C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\iTunes

Check this folder accuarate and you find some temporary folders, with big sizes.

Or C:\Users\All Users\Apple Computer\iTunes

iTunes Can I update iTunes on my MacBook Pro running High Sierra? I love my old mac and I have had older iPhones which worked well with the older iTunes. Do they offer iTunes for windows 11? Is iTunes compatible with windows? I need to make more room on my iPhone for an update. I have over 40G of pics, etc all stored in Apple cloud.
