How to build shortcut to open the last modified Numbers file saved in a folder

I need to create a shortcut to open the file with following criteria:

(1) last modified date

(2) extension is Numbers

(3) in specific folder

(4) Name contains NAV


Thanks for any help

Following shortcut runs but don’t open any file


iPad mini (6th generation)

  • Add a "Get contents of folder" action before the "Filter" action.
  • Change the "Filter" action to filter "Contents of Folder".


To test the above suggestions work, I created a folder called TESTING on the Desktop containing two TextEdit files:



Then I created the following shortcut which gets the last modified TextEdit file which has TEXT in the name from that folder:
