iMac issues with scheduled daily wake and shutdown

Terminal imputs:

I'm using this for power on:

sudo pmset repeat wakeorpoweron MTWRFSU 08:00:00

and this for power off:

sudo pmset repeat shutdown MTWRFSU 22:00:00

When I check the schedule with this:

pmset -g sched

I only get one of the scheduled events.

Why?

Here are my Terminal events:

A***@W***-iMac ~ % sudo pmset schedule cancelall

Password:

A***@W***-iMac ~ % sudo pmset repeat wakeorpoweron MTWRFSU 08:00:00

A***@W***-iMac ~ % pmset -g sched

Repeating power events:

  wakepoweron at 8:00AM every day

A***@W***-iMac ~ % sudo pmset repeat shutdown MTWRFSU 22:00:00

A***@W***-iMac ~ % pmset -g sched

Repeating power events:

  shutdown at 10:00PM every day

A***@W***-iMac ~ %

Why does the wake event disappear after I add the shutdown?

Thanks!!!

They have to be entered on the same line:

Sudo pmset repeat poweron MTWRFSU 6:00:00 shutdown MTWRFSU 21:30:00
