I found this same question on this post Vagrant on M1 Chip - Apple Community
It said that it is not possible to run Vagrant on M1 Chip but I just followed this github page https://gist.github.com/sbailliez/2305d831ebcf56094fd432a8717bed93 and I made it!
Can anyone explain why the previous apple post said that we cannot run Vagrant on apple silicon, but I could do it. I can even execute vagrant ssh from my local computer into the VM from Google Cloud
Remember, this is a user-to-user forum. The only thing you can take as authoritative are the links to support documents (and occasionally, there are mistakes in them). There are no MacBooks with M1 chips, perhaps you have a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro, post accordingly.
