Vagrant on M1 Chip

I found this same question on this post Vagrant on M1 Chip - Apple Community

It said that it is not possible to run Vagrant on M1 Chip but I just followed this github page https://gist.github.com/sbailliez/2305d831ebcf56094fd432a8717bed93 and I made it!

Can anyone explain why the previous apple post said that we cannot run Vagrant on apple silicon, but I could do it. I can even execute vagrant ssh from my local computer into the VM from Google Cloud

Remember, this is a user-to-user forum. The only thing you can take as authoritative are the links to support documents (and occasionally, there are mistakes in them). Just because someone makes a post doesn't mean it's accurate. Or, it may be accurate at the time but, as ku4hx suggests, things change.
