how to turn off verification code
My phone is only used at home to receive codes and I live alone so no verification is needed. How DO I GET RID of the required 2nd notification?

If you're asking how you turn off Two-Factor Authentication, the answer is you can't. Two-Factor authentication is not designed to protect your phone. It protects your Apple ID. People can try to hack your Apple ID from anywhere.
