How to erase iphone 8 with broken screen and locked after restart

I have an iphone 8 with a broken screen.

I want to erase it before getting rid of it, but it is locked and requires passcode that I cannot enter.

So, it doesn't seem like I can connect to iTunes or Mac without unlocking. I cannot do a remote vipe via icloud unless I can do passcode either.

Are there special buttons I can press to engage a wipe?

How to re-enter the lock code through NULL ? I connected my device to my computer and updated it to the latest version and when it finished the phone worked without any issues. When I unplugged it from the laptop, the screen was locked and it told me the iPhone is unavailable and there are no other options than emergency and iPhone erase. Under the erase option there is an option to restore its ability Enter the lock code through (Null) Does anyone have an idea that it is possible to unlock the iPhone without deleting the data because I am a student and have a lot of approaches needed in the first place Note that I have all the required passwords

No. Since you had a passcode set, all of the data on it is encrypted and effectively unrecoverable.
