I have a new IPad 10 and the keyboard clicks are so quiet you can hardly hear them. Went to Apple Store and they did a reset and everything they could think of…no luck.
I want my click sounds louder as well as lock sound.

I’ve done all of the suggestions to no avail.
The Apple tech guys said all of the IPad 10’s all seem to very quiet click sounds . You need to hold the IPad up to your ear to hear the clicks.
is this a bug with IPad 10’s?
You are not the first - and are unlikely to be the last - to complain of low-volume system sounds with iPadOS 16.x
If you cannot hear Keyboard Clicks when enabled, check your audio volume is turned-up using the Control Centre volume slider.
If you are experiencing difficulties setting the volume of System Sounds independently of your audio volume, try disabling Change with Buttons in your Sound settings:
Settings > Sounds > Change with Buttons
With Change with Buttons set to OFF, your physical volume buttons will only alter the audio volume; the volume of your System Sounds are then fully independent of the physical controls, and changed only via iPad Settings.
Have you tried to go to Settings > select sounds and haptics, and drag the Ringer And Alerts slider to turn the volume up? Also do you have keyboard sound and haptics turned on?
