edit sidebar of finder does not work

I just uninstalled node.js from my macbookPro and it has somehow scrambled the finder sidebar. See attached screenshot. The missing items are iCloud (not ICloudDrive), Applications, Photos, Pictures, and a folder which is my name (under favourites), which I would appeciate your scrubbing before publication. I have tried following the net advice without luck. Can you help?

How come "iCloud" is missing, when it is clearly shown in your screenshot?

It seems to me that the one simple thing you have to do is to "disclose" your "Favourites":

hover your mouse pointer near the word "Favourites", until you see ">".

Click ">" to disclose the items in "Favourites".
