Hey there, Bdav4343,
Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.
Is it possible that you and your husband are sharing the same Apple ID account? If so, it may be that the contacts were imported onto the Samsung device by mistake. If that is the case, then the easiest way to fix it is going to be by ensuring that you and your husband are utilizing two separate Apple ID accounts. Those accounts are not designed to be shared between two separate users and when they are, it can result in things like this happening.
To get started, here is how you can create a new Apple ID: How to create a new Apple ID - Apple Support. We would recommend doing this for the person who is not the primary user of the iCloud account.
Now, if you are not sharing an iCloud/Apple ID account, another option could be that those contacts are syncing with a third-party account such as a Google or Outlook account. The same principles would apply there, if you and your husband are sharing a single account anywhere that may store contacts, this would be a potential outcome so that is something worth looking into.
We hope this helps!
Cheers.
