SSL2 has no output after update

I have an SSL2+ audio interface. Worked fine on Tuesday, I updated MacOS and there is no output on it today.

The device connects, shows up in settings, and I also was able to update the firmware for the SSL2+ itself.

Internal speakers are working if those are selected. The volume in the selection screen is just greyed out for the SSL2+.

This happened after the Ventura update to 13.3.1 the other day. Has this happened to anyone else?

I don't have Time Machine enabled. Is there a way to roll back updates?

Hi!

I had the same issue. I think I upgraded from MacOS 12 to 14.

The way I resolved it, I ended up having to plug it into a few of the USB-C outlets. The top left and right USB-C ports of my Macbook Pro didn't seem to like it. When I plugged into my bottom left USB-C outlet, the screen flashed a message asking me if I wanted to allow the SSL 2+ Device to connect. I clicked "Yes" and it worked.

Hope that helps!
