Unable to edit video from iPhone 13 mini 1080p - 1080 x 1920 30fps on my iPad 10th generation

I think I figured it out. On iPhone in Settings/Camera/Formats I changed setting from “High Efficiency” to “Most Compatible”. I took another video on the iPhone and was able to edit it on my iPad after it became available on the Cloud. If this is the solution, why am I the first to find it or post it? Odd. I think Apple provides poor technical support. Maybe they don’t even know how their own devices behave.

Seems to be OK now, but what to do with all the videos I created on the iPhone before I changed the setting from High Efficiency to Most Compatible?
