is my data backed up
My iphone is broken and will not power on. I got a new iphone 14, how do i know if my data is backed up??

During the setup of the new phone starting with the "hello" screen, you will arrive at a screen entitled Apps & Data.
Select Restore from iCloud Backup.
If you see a message that the backup cannot be found, you were not backing up the "old" phone, so unfortunately there is no way to transfer data from the old phone to the new phone.
