Apple Pencil shows animation but not connecting

Hi, my Apple Pencil 2nd generation won’t connect to my iPad Air 5. I have reset my iPad many times and turned Bluetooth on and off multiple times but still no change.

When I attach the pencil to my iPad it says Apple Pencil at the top for about 30 seconds then disappears and the pencil didn’t connect. I also try a hard reset to my ipad, then, I can see only the animation of the pencil for a while, but not connecting.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me.

Did you resolve this? Same behavior. On one iPad it shows the animation and fails to connect. On another iPad it shows “Apple pencil” and tap to connect, but it never pairs
