I am having trouble with the True depth camera in the messages app. Whenever I try to use a Memoji or create one with face tracking, I get "Tap to resume" and "Face tracking failed. Tap to retry." I tap it and I get a split second where it manages to recognise my expression then breaks again.
Face tracking is still working in portrait mode in the camera and there’s no issues with faceID.
I have an iPhone 13 mini on iOS 16.4.1. I'd appreciate any help.

Hi. Thanks for responding but I have tried the stated methods to attempt to fix it and as stated there is no issue with faceID, or portrait mode, or the face tracking when using the Memoji face replace mode in the camera. It is only within the messages app or when adding/editing them.
