My fiat 500 carplay no longer works with my iphone X

Is it because my phone is suddenly too old? My daughter has an iPhone 11 which works fine. Last week my battery was changed and maybe there was an update that means the iPhone x is no longer compatible ?? It connects but I have no screen apps and no maps etc.

Iphone 15 Pro Max I have contacted apple support, the new phone will not work with car play in my 2023 Mazda CX5. Now I'm told I have to make an appt with dealership which takes a week, this is not the problem I don't believe but will make the appt anyway. I think Apple is having a glitch, a bug, needs a fix for apple car play there are too many others having the same issue I am, I have literally did it all, different charger, usb to c adapter, wireless, I am not technology illiterate and the rep made me feel I was offering no other solution for a $1500 phone this needs to be fixed
