Yahoo email in Apple mail cutting off inbox at 10k emails and 1 year history

Hoping someone can help. I use yahoo for my email provider. I bring in the emails using the apple mail app on both my MacBook pro and my iPhone. On both devices I used to be able to see every email in my yahoo email. Im not sure when this started but I recently noticed that now on both my MacBook Pro and iPhone mail apps I can only see the last 10,000 emails which for me is a years worth of emails. Any emails older than a year are not showing. When I login to yahoo via the web I see all emails with no truncation happening by # of emails or age. I saw some threads on this previously but folks said no one will take responsibility and all the sudden the truncated emails just started showing up again. Anyone know who to contact to actually get this fixed? My devices are a MacBook pro 2021 with Ventura and an iPhone 14 Pro Max with up to date software. Thank you.
