Variant on Badunit's response:

  1. Filter the table.
  2. Select Copy Snapshot from Edit menu.
  3. Paste into blank Numbers sheet, Excel worksheet, or TextEdit document.

Export to what/where?

  1. Filter the table
  2. Select the entire table (click on the green circle at the top left corner of the table)
  3. Copy (Command C)
  4. Paste (Command P) into an Excel worksheet or a TextEdit document set to Rich Text

Only the visible rows should have pasted, the hidden rows will be gone. You could also paste into a blank Numbers table, but you said "export".
