Make sure that you have the latest software (iOS 16.4.1) on your connected iPhone so that the firmware on you AirPods will be updated automatically.


Wondering if the AirPods are connected to the iPhone ok

whether it may be adjusting the volume that is needed:

You can make sure the mute button is not pressed / muting / your voice.
