After you turn on two-factor authentication, you have a two-week period during which you can turn it off. After that period, you can't turn off two-factor authentication. To turn it off, open your confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings.

For me, two factor happens every single time I use my computer at home. Apple never recognizes my browser (even though I check the remember me box) and sometimes it is not convenient to jump up and grab my phone because apple does not recognize my own home.

Perform New iCloud Sessions:

Log out of iCloud on all devices association to you Apple account, and then log back in. Perhaps they all need to resync?
