Internet sharing: Wi-Fi to Ethernet

I would like to share the internet connection from a Mac mini to another Mac computer connected via Ethernet. The Mac mini is connected to the Internet via WiFi. To my surprise, Ethernet is not listed in the "To computers using" section. Why not?

If you go to System Preferences > Network do you see Ethernet listed in the left side of the pane with the other network interfaces?

If not, click the Add button (–) at the bottom and add it. See if that has changed the options for Sharing.
