How do you find the year of manuf of iPhone SE. I know you can look at the serial number, which I have done, but cannot find a place on the web that will tell me how to get the year of manuf from that. Some say it is the 4th number, but .....?

The fourth and fifth characters of the serial number should represent the manufacture date in the format YYWW, where YY is the last two digits of the year and WW is the week number. For example, if the fourth and fifth characters are 12, the iPhone was manufactured in the 12th week of the year, which is typically around March.


However, you can also just enter the serial number into either of the following web sites:
