why doesnt my front camera work

The front camera on my iPad doesn’t work and I don’t know why. The back camera works but the front camera doesn’t. I haven’t dropped the iPad, it’s been looked after but it just all of a sudden stopped working. It isn’t an old iPad at all.

does anyone have any suggestions
