Use Crash Detection on iPhone or Apple Watch to call for help in an accident - Apple Support

Crash detection is turned on by default on supported iPhone and Apple Watch models.

You can check if Crash Detection is turned on by going to Settings > Emergency SOS and making sure that "Call After Severe Crash" is turned on. On Apple Watch, this is called Settings > SOS.
